Theft is a crime punishable by the Penal Code in articles 372 of the Penal Code. Theft is the removal of a foreign movable thing from the possession of another for the purpose of illegal appropriation. In its basic form it is a misdemeanor and is punishable by imprisonment of at least three months.
Theft requires the deceit of the perpetrator, there is no negligent theft. The perpetrator must also have the purpose of illegal exploitation, deceit alone in removing the thing is not enough.
